Where Hands Touch
This story tells about a drama that looks different and influential in the life of Lena, the girl who is living a real tragedy because of the color of her skin. Lina, a 15-year-old daughter of a white German mother and a black father, lives because of the dark skin, which is completely oppressed. The events may seem wrong until Lena meets a young man named Lutz, the son of a senior SS officer and member of Hitler Youth, who has been mandatory for all Aryan boys since 1936. They will both fall into a serious love story that makes them both in certain danger because of their different classes and faces.

Where Hands Touch is a waste of solid acting by Amandla Stenberg, and time for its viewers. Asante's attempt to make Nazi characters appear sympathetic is a perfect example of not reading the room, especially in this contentious time in our country.September 10, 2018
When the complex, humanizing portrayal of Nazi characters and SS soldiers enter the picture, good intentions do derail fast, leading to disturbing outcomes.
